The band performance was shot at Shepperton Studios on a motion control rig which we used as an elaborate crane. The interiors were filmed in a friends flat in Richmond and featured the unfeasably photogenic Sally Scott. The cut away of the phone hitting the wall was the only shot in the video that had the luxury of a second take as I throw like a girl and missed the first time.

The look of the exteriors was achieved by cutting from a VHS transfer of the original 35mm neg shot on an Arri 2c, so it already had a pretty rough feel.
